Garden of Remembrance
Although there no burials around the
church, there is a Garden of Remembrance for members of the congregation, offering an
alternative for the disposal of cremated remains from the columbarium in the English
Cemetery.
Along the south wall of the parish grounds, a flower border has been set aside and, as
remains are deposited, rose bushes can be planted as a living memorial to the departed. A
small plaque identifies each plot.
The spot is a pleasant, shady place, with a nice variety of full-grown
trees. Several benches, which have been donated by parishioners, are situated around
the garden.
